Coco Balls (Kókuszgolyó)
The simplest, no-cook dessert that your mum would make with you to bring to primary school class Farsang. Lightly rum flavoured, cocoa powder and coconut balls, filled with nostalgia.
Ingredients
Allergy information: This recipe contains flour (biscuits) and dairy (butter, milk).
3 portions
- 25 dkg biscuit crumbs (háztartási keksz, digestive biscuits, point is for it to be dry and mildly sweet)
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.5 packets vanilla sugar
- 10 dkg powdered sugar
- 10 dkg butter
- 1 dl milk
- 10 droplets of rum extract
- 10 dkg coconut flakes
- If you want to be fancy, you can add sour cherry preserves to the centre of each ball
Instructions
- Mix everything except the coconut flakes (and sour cherries, if applicable) together into a paste.
- Wet your hands with water and make little balls out of the paste (putting the sour cherries in the centre, if you're including them). Size is up to you, but aiming for a good metaball size should get you good results. Roll the balls in the coconut flakes before placing them on a tray.
- Chill in fridge for 2 hours.
- Try not to eat all of them at once.
